Brand Identity design for a plastering company working across NSW and Queensland.
After receiving some bad publicity from a client relationship turned bad, I was approached to deploy a rapid re-brand in order to distance the company from their tarnished reputation. Supplied with the name Reliance Walls & Ceilings (RWC), I had to appeal to a young workforce and client base, whilst still creating a strong, corporate-looking entity.
RWC specialises in plastering vertical walls and horizontal ceilings. To reference this, the type has been rotated vertically, while the ‘R’ remains horizontal. The logo draws attention to the top angle of the ‘R’ which, set at 90º, represents the most trustworthy angle in construction. The logo is a sum of its parts, simplifying the way RWC relies on strong relationships with other builders and construction companies.
